Q: How has Marco changed your life and how is he fitting into his new home?
A: Marco is fitting into his new home perfectly! He changed my life for the better–I didn’t know I needed him in my life until I brought him home. He makes me laugh every day, not a day goes by where he isn’t doing something goofy and silly. Watching him grow into a confident dog has been extremely rewarding. I love watching my senior pup and Marco together, they are like two peas in a pod. It feels like Marco has been a part of my family for forever️.
Q: How has the DAS heartworm treatment program helped you care for Marco?
A: I am so grateful that DAS is able to cover the costs of heartworm treatment. If not for the program, I would not have been able to cover costs myself at my vet. I love that the treatment program has a direct line where you can call if you have questions or concerns. They answered all my questions. Marco had developed a bump after his first injection which didn’t go away and the team went above and beyond to make sure everything was normal and okay, they even took x rays. Now my Marco will live a long and happy life.
